When installing a railway foundation on a pile field, a void was formed under the slab. Due to the fact that the foundation perceived dynamic loads from the technical activites and working conveyor, the project designers decided that it was necessary to recreate the support of the grillboard on the base over the entire area. This solution reduces the negative impact of dynamic loads on piles.
Recreating the base slab support on the base over the entire area.
To solve this problem, a preliminary comprehensive survey of the foundation base was conducted, which confirmed the loosening of the ground soil and the presence of voids under the slab with a capacity of up to 60 cm.
The technical solution meant to restore the solid foundation-ground contact by compensating injection of self-expanding Uretek resins under the railway foundation.
